Your applications, in one place you control.
You do the writing and make the calls. Bema keeps track of everything around it, so the night before a deadline is for checking, not for finding out what you missed.
A normal week with Bema
Open the dashboard
Your next deadline, what’s left for it, and one suggested next step. Nothing to reconstruct from memory.
Write in the Common App workspace
Answer an activity description, watch the character count, ask the AI to proofread. Copy it into the Common App when it’s done.
Work on an essay
Talk it through with the coach. If your mom left a suggestion, accept it or keep your version.
Check a school’s requirements
See the supplement you hadn’t started and the honors form that decides scholarships. Tick them off as you go.
Nudge a recommender
Copy a polite reminder for the teacher who hasn’t sent theirs, and Bema remembers you did.
It’s your work, and it stays that way
The AI helps. It doesn’t write.
The coach and the Common App helpers give feedback, ask questions and fix mechanics in sentences you wrote. They won’t produce essay text, even if you ask. Admissions offices want your voice, and so do we.
You choose who sees it
A parent sees nothing until you accept their invitation. You can remove them any time from Settings, and your chats with the AI coach and counselor stay private either way.
Suggestions, not edits
A connected parent can comment and suggest wording. Only you can accept a change. Nobody else can type in your draft.
Take it with you
Download everything you’ve written from Settings whenever you like, or delete your account and your data with it.
Good to know
You need to be 13 or older
Most students start in junior or senior year, but anyone 13 and up can make an account.
You still submit on the Common App
Bema is where you prepare. The Common App, school portals and StudentAid.gov are where you submit.
It works on your phone
Use the iPhone app or any browser. Same account, same work.
It’s free during the beta
No card, no trial clock. About pricing.
Start with the school you’re most worried about.
Add it, and Bema shows you everything it asks for.
